We would like to send our greatest welcome to you, your families and friends, we are inviting all of you coming to the great Usnisa Vijaya Stupa “Ground-Breaking” ritual at Lotus Light Monastery. This will be the very first Usnisa Stupa in the Vancouver Mainland. The stupa will be 6 meter tall, standing by the Japanese Garden at our monastery in Richmond.
This stupa project is requested by the True Buddha disciples because the prediction and the foreseeing of the devastated big earthquake in the West Coast in North America. The power and the merit of the Usnisa Vijaya stupa is great and the benefits are list-long. The stupa can harmonized the five natural elements of the ‘earth’, ‘water’, ‘fire’, ‘wind’, and ‘air’. Therefore the stupa is able to protect the people from nature disasters. Stupa represents and symbolizes the great Buddha, it holds the power and immeasurables blessings of the Great One, thus, building a stupa can increase one’s merits and virtue, it can prolong one’s life, one’s karma can be cleansed and one will be able to be reborn in Buddhaland. If anyone would pay solemn respect and repentance in front of the stupa, circumambulating while chanting and/or just hearing the mantra of Usnisa Vijaya, even just seeing the stupa from afar distance, cleaning the stupa and the dusts has been dropped on one’s body, one will receive unbelievable merits and virtues. This stupa can benefit all sentient beings. The merit of building a stupa can be dedicated to his/hers ancestors, the deceased, whom the souls will be revolved to a high realm and be free from the suffering from the three paths below. This is a great opportunity for anyone to build countless merit for oneself and/or for others as well.
We still need more funding support for this project because the cost to complete the entire structure of this stupa is very high, like the shipping cost from East Asia to Canada, transportation road cost, the trucking and forklifting, engineering and the foundation cost to hold the great 6-metre stupa, rebuilding and repairing the driveways, roads and pavements in the garden at the monastery due to the weight of the stupa in transporting, the additional cost for landscaping, labors and material cost, etc….. are all parts of the project expenses.
Your kind donation is welcomed to support this meaningful project: On Line Donation.
